Mission & Welcome Statements

We are proposing a new mission and welcome statements. 

We'd like to hear what you think of these two statements. 

Proposed Mission Statement

We strive to be a community that is open to the Spirit of God that moves, changes, and inspires us to connect with God and one another, every day, everywhere.

Proposed Welcome Statement

By God's example, St. John's invites and welcomes everyone to be ignited by the Spirit and to grow in God's love. May all those seeking love, acceptance, and support find it here.
