Season of Creation Worship

The ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America) observes the Season of Creation (September 1 - October 4) as a time to turn toward God as Creator and respond to the call to care for the natural world.  October 4 is also the commemoration of St. Francis of Assisi, a faithful witness to God's love for all creation. 

Our worship on Sunday, October 4, the culminating day of the Season of Creation, will take place outdoors and will include the blessing of animals.  Pets are welcome to join us for outdoor worship - dogs must remain leashed and carriers should be used for small animals.  Following worship, individual pet blessings will be offered.
